Attractor States/Body Assumptions
This is an interesting metaphor for having your mind changed, or 'undoing understanding'.
It is interesting that when you challenge baked-in assumptions, and sunk costs of believing one thing over another, the brain eventually adapts then ironically finds it harder to re-learn the old way. Free-will, whether it be our own, or predetermined by a higher power, will either inculcate a powerful change in thinking or leaves enough elasticity in the system to easily reset it to the default.
But we all seem to like the old ways, even when we've tried the challenge for change.
This could be where ego gets in the way, or gets its way.
