Contributions

Interesting: the new "contribution" can simply be a cleared (or tentatively cleared) sample. 

A Contributor used to be one intimately involved in the concept, and perhaps spent a day or two in the studio. 

It is odd that Brian Eno and Bowie are listed as "contributors" on the new Frank Ocean album with a track titled "Facebook Story" when ironically neither wanted to have any direct involvement. 

As with all of social media, it is "transactional": "I click if you click". 

Prediction: Social media and the blockchain will make your Likes a currency, all managed with digital contracts. It will make both collaboration and contribution like a scheduled Tweet.
