Musical Sustenance
After watching the Glen Campbell documentary I'll Be Me, I realized that music exists in another dimension of consciousness, not necessarily connected or parented to anything like thinking, language, or making and using tools. Music can stand on its own when everything else falls apart, probably because it exists in many parts of the brain.
We are at a juncture in the history of pop music where its progenitors are passing away. They get panned by younger generations, but like the recent digital reconstruction of the Bamiyan Buddhas of Afghanistan, they can become digitally immortalized.
