The timelessness of usefulness
Sometimes old technologies mesh seamlessly with hi-tech: I still have a Roland MC-300 sequencer (purchased in 1988) that I still use in my studio. Data is saved to an internal floppy drive, and It takes about 10-15 seconds to save a tiny 4-bar MIDI file. I still love this device and I am not frustrated at all by the old technology. It served its purpose 25 years ago and continues to be useful, and I never think it's too old to use.
