Macro Micro

Thoughts: Macro-micro levels of listening: liking music, but not knowing why (emotional); micro: listening at the "granular" level: interpreting ambiguous lyrics, masked sounds, providing context; this is where composers "load" the music, i.e. write in parts that listeners might find.
