Protests OWS/Israel-Gaza

 

Yesterday there was a protest taking place outside my window and I recorded a bit of it with my phone.

On November 5, 2011 (also a Saturday) I attended an OWS rally at Scoville Park in Oak Park. Here's the audio:

When I show up to these events with my SLR slung over my shoulder people always ask me if I'm a reporter. I am in a way—to myself. I want to record history taking place.

What's also interesting are the rhythms in protest chants.
