Music in Language (Cont.)

The interesting thing about revising recorded music is that you can let it play on the periphery while doing something else, and you can spot the areas that need tweaking. You couldn't do this with prose, but now you can have the text recited using various apps.

Language is like music in this regard: when you listen to it in the background of other activity, you can spot the errors, because it can sound "wrong". You wouldn't necessarily have seen those by just reading the words silently. When you fix the grammar, you can kill the music.
