Throwback Clinton (Yesterday's Future)
At this time of year in 1998, Bill Clinton was facing impeachment. If a future president Trump (Future Shock) is to be similarly lambasted, it will be forgotten only one generation later.
We remember the Zeitgeists.
I recall a real Zeitgeist during Clinton. The Internet was brand new, which gave everyone a sense of optimism for utopia by the Millennium. He was GenX's Eisenhower.
