Big/Small Talk
There are those people that you run into that cut to the chase with a big topic that's on their minds, as opposed to talk about politics, sports or the weather. Both can be jarring, especially if you have your own big topics pervading your own thinking. Today's impromptu topic was Marcia Clark and the "glove test" at the OJ trial in 1994. I don't know if that matters when the summer weather couldn't be nicer, and topics need to be as small as possible, to make room for the larger ones more meaningful than 90s-era crime dramas.
