St. Artist
After watching The Artist Is Present, I realized that what I was really watching is the chronicle of a "patron saint" of the art world.
For some, Marina Abramovic has the same power of a saint (albeit from the MOMA mandarins) rather than a canonization by the Catholic Church.
Interestingly "St." can also stand for "street", conflating street art with St.ruggle and transcendence.
Marina is the Malala Yousafzai for artists.
