Sound Pictures

When you want to capture a memory, you usually take a picture. But the brain is already doing it, with all the senses, not only vision.

Sound can also "photograph" a place by encoding or fusing the experience with the sounds heard at the time.

Listening to a program for a second time will cause the brain to recall the initial experience on first listening, similar to looking at a photograph, but occurs naturally in the brain.

So if you go somewhere completely new, listen to something new while there, then listen to it again in another place, and you will recall the first location.
