35K FPS
Now there is a camera that can shoot up to 35, 000 FPS. Since we've become so used to perceiving reality in 30 FPS, how will the new frame rate possibly shift perception? The brain actually captures at the same speed, but extracts only common information, or differences (the 'exformation'). At 35, 000 FPS how many frames would you missed if you blinked?
Also interesting:
Also interesting:
- This is like the difference between equal temperament and the full spectrum of pitches in the octave (but how useful is it in terms of logical information?)
- Will the ability to shoot at high frame rates create the need to do it?
- Useful for capturing micro-expressions and other micro-events missed by blinking and general latency of human consciousness
