Jaume Plensa

Went to Jaume Plensa lecture at Art Institute.

Things I liked:

Main material are ideas ("my brain is my studio"),

The light booths (cells) in glass block (Japan),

Works with gongs/bells ("cymbalism"),

Giant head in Liverpool (great focal point--beacon on the horizon.)

It all begs one big question: how is it all financed?!
