Music should be created and release in 'limited editions'. It gives the impression that it's a fleeting opportunity to appreciate something that might soon be gone.

1/2/2009: There can never be a limited edition in a world that is a big copy machine (as Kevin Kelly once said). How can something ever be limited when it's on thousands or millions of hard drives?

Interesting metaphor for songwriting--the sections are like different rooms or spaces.

Watched 'Subway Stories'--series of vignettes based on stories of New York subway riders. somehow I was suspect of how true they were. How interesting can the truth be?
